The Permission You Were Never Supposed to Need

For the woman who keeps waiting for someone to say yes.

Many of us were taught to wait our turn, to be twice as good and half as loud. That lesson came from people who loved us and knew what the world could do. It kept some of us safe but, it also taught us to wait for a permission slip God never asked us to get.

If God placed a vision in you, the vision came with its own authorization. It’s embedded in the code. You don’t need the room to agree before you walk in. And, you don’t need a title before you start serving.

There's a difference between asking for guidance and asking for permission.

This doesn’t mean skipping wisdom or counsel. Seek both. But there’s a difference between asking for guidance and asking for permission. One builds you up. The other keeps you waiting.

Write the vision down. Make it plain. Then start, even if you’re the first one in your family to try.

You got this!

With grace, Elicia
